The Syrian civil war has driven hundreds of thousands from their home country. The Za’atari Refugee Camp in Mafraq, Jordan, has become the fourth-most-populous place in the country because of the influx of refugees fleeing Syria to escape the war. Many have left their homes, lives, and families with nothing more than the clothes on their back, leaving them entirely unprepared for life in the refugee camp and the harsh winter conditions in the city of tents. In the fall of 2013, Save the Children teamed up with TOMS with the goal of bringing every child in the camp a pair of shoes. Together they'll provide new shoes to thousands of children.
