So where is all this renewed interest in wind energy going? Some businesses are betting that the future lies off our coasts, where there is plenty of real estate and winds are more consistently powerful (check out the above video to take a look). Others are taking their money and turbines to the skies. 
 
Regardless of what form it takes, what is certain is that wind power is going to be an integral part of our energy future. In fact, in Rock Port, Missouri it's already providing a power surplus.
