Radio personality Rush Limbaugh has suggested that women who use birth control should be required to post videos of their sexual activities online. Presidential candidate Rick Santorum insists that a woman impregnated during rape should be grateful for the gift of life. In this clip from MoveOn.org, actual women give voice to Rush and Rick’s clever remarks, and to a few more absurd and repugnant statements being flouted by political figures in the resurgent war on women.
The MoveOn editorial slant is distinctly anti-GOP; the women virtually call for a female boycott of the Republican Party.
Solutions would be so much simpler if the GOP were the sole anti-female side of the aisle. Women are also under attack from so-called liberal media chat men, and are victimized by drag-ass legislators of both parties. It has taken a decades-long bipartisan consensus to hobble the career trajectories of American mothers with the most insulting maternity care standards in the industrialized world.
