We don’t need a miracle cure; we just have to take what we know works and apply that around the world.
Approximately one in eight people in the world lacks access to clean water. And more people have cell phones than a toilet. Throughout his life, Gary White has focused on increasing access to safe water and basic sanitation. In 2009 White partnered with Academy Award-winning actor Matt Damon to create Water.org, a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe drinking water and sanitation to developing countries. White believes the task shouldn't be too difficult because “we don’t need a miracle cure; we just have to take what we know works and apply that around the world.”
