MADE: Celebrate America Recycles Day with 11:11 Enterprises
A mom and pop business gets crafty with recycled paper.
November 14, 2011
For Jamila Tazewell and her husband, Jai Gopal Khalsa, recycled paper turned a passion into a career.
Recycled and repurposed paper is the main ingredient in the couple's accessory outfit, 11:11 Enterprises, which they run out of their Los Angeles home. All 11:11's raw materials are produced locally, cutting costs to both the production process and the environment at large.
By living simply and buying locally, Jamila and Jai are doing their part to make the world a better, more creative place.
