Clip of the Day: A Tiny Moment of Hope From a Voter in This Year’s Election Cycle

Everybody, calm down and breathe for a minute.

New Hampshire voter David Cantagallo shares a few words of wisdom for voters in this year’s election. In an interview with PBS NewsHour, Cantagallo said he just wants “everyone to have a sense that their voice is heard.” (Via Upworthy.)

Amid all of the bipartisan bickering and media coverage of the presidential horse race, it’s easy to get caught up in the negatives of politics.

In this video, which has already generated 20,000 hits, Cantagallo points out, “Everything seems so distant now.”

We can’t help but agree, considering how the two political parties are at polar opposites these days and President Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney are entrenched in campaign battles.
