If you needed an extra boost of motivation today, this is it. SoulPancake's Kid President is here to get you pumped up and ready to do something. In fact, this little kid isn’t afraid to ask the question, “What will you create that will make the world awesome?”
After you’re done watching the video, perhaps take a cue from Kid President and give someone else a reminder of his or her awesomeness.
High school could be a good place to start these days. Despite improved graduation rates, the dropout rate among minority high school students is growing. It went from 5.5 percent in 2008 to 6.3 percent in 2010, according to a report released last week by the National Center for Education Statistics. Showing someone you care and offering a few words of encouragement can be a game changer.
Now, in the words of Kid President, we can cry about the challenge before us, or we can dance about it. After this video, we’re ready to dance.
