Can one person really change the world? Bill Drayton thinks so. Innovative individuals who believe they can make a difference and don’t give up have been at the forefront of every major social change. Through his organization, Ashoka, Drayton has been investing in trailblazers since 1980, aiming to create a world where everyone believes they can effect change. “Everyone has to be a change maker, because if you aren’t able to contribute to change, you’re not going to be a player,” Drayton says. With more than 2,000 Fellows in 60 countries, Ashoka is helping fuel initiatives that are create mass social change.
