While primary school is free in many developing countries, the $150 a year for secondary school is often too much for aspiring students to afford. Seventy-one million high school–age students are forced to drop out.

Matt Severson's nonprofit organization, The School Fund, enables donors to contribute small amounts to help send kids in Africa to high school.
