Obama Goes 'Between Two Ferns' to Talk Health Care

The comedian-in-chief talks Obamacare in 'Funny or Die' series.

In the latest episode of Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis, the host asks President Obama the tough questions: What is it like to be the last black president? Do you send "Ambassador" Rodman to North Korea on your behalf? Why would you get the guy who created the Zune to make the health care website?

All of which Obama answers with his own zingers, though he is particularly defensive in stressing that “HealthCare.gov works great now.”

The appearance after all was an effort to encourage young Americans to sign up for health insurance before the March 31 deadline. The president even makes sure to plug all the ways users can sign up—either through “the thing” that works now or by calling the hotline. Though if you, like the NSA-wary Galifianakis, don’t have a phone (“I don’t want you people looking at my texts, if you know what I mean?”), you can also do it in person, preexisting conditions or not.
