From The New York Times -- There have been recent studies linking High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) to fatty liver and kidney disease. The link to the obesity is still weak; but HFCS is having a devastating footprint on the environment.
“ They found that overall, people who drank two or more sugary sodas a day were at 40 percent higher risk for kidney damage, while the risk for women soda drinkers nearly doubled. ”
