From Wall Street Journal -- 60,000 patients in Las Vegas were urged to get tested for Hepatitis C after six patients were diagnosed with Hepatitis C because of re-used needles. Unsafe injection practices are one of the leading causes of infections in doctor's offices. The CDC and private medical groups have kicked off a new campaign aimed at educating places about safe practices. Contaminated needles are one of the leading causes of Hepatitis C transmission.
