The United States is the most obese country in the world. No surprise, but it makes you think: In our wonderful union, which states are the most and least obese?
Fun fact: In 1996 there weren't any states where more than 20 percent of the population was obese.
A lot can change in 16 years.
Today, in the least obese state, 21 percent of population is obese. Nationwide, 35.7 percent of adults are obese.
