We were promised that, in the future, a single pill would supplant the need to eat three square meals a day. All of the calories, protein, and nutrition traditionally gained from consuming breakfast, lunch, and dinner would be packed into one tidy lozenge.
Well, in a sense, we’ve arrived at a similar dystopian version of that promised tomorrow. If you’re uninterested in eating multiple meals a day, the dishes that have the dubious honor of winning the Center for Science in the Public Interest’s annual Xtreme Eating awards can supply you with far more than a day’s worth of calories—not to mention excessive amounts of fat, sugar, sodium, and cholesterol.
Without further ado, we give you the worst restaurant meals in America.
