Dolphins as They Should Be: Free, in the Open Ocean

Confining the planet's second smartest mammal to a tiny aquarium tank is cruel and unusual punishment.

I feel that if the dolphins are in a tank that has an open port to the ocean so that they can come and go as they please there is no captivity there. If they are held in a facility for study and such then I agree that the facility holding these animals should suffer a reprocussion for their actions. I have heard of some cruel and unusual punishments like separating siblings and parents from each other just to see the reactions, and newborns from mothers. They are just like humans and have the same feelings and emotions. Thats why there are dolphins that are special needs animals for children with disabilities. They sense the disability the child or adult has and tries to help the disabled overcome fears and feel more relaxed. There are responcible facilities and unresponcible ones. The irresponcible should be shut down!
katy - I totally disagree with you. ah.
