To keep peak enrollment steady, the Obama Administration has been committed to promoting enrollment in community colleges as an affordable alternative to traditional four-year institutions. In an effort to reach a goal of 5 million more students becoming community college graduates by 2020, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act will allocate $2 billion over four years to community colleges and career training.
