Maybe it’s their awkward gait, wobbly wattle, or strange gobble, but turkeys come off as pretty inept animals. Due to an inherited condition called tetanic torticollar spasms, turkeys often stare aimlessly at the sky for 30 seconds or more, even when it’s raining. But that’s not all. Since their eyes are spaced so far apart, turkeys have a hard time focusing. This causes them to tilt their heads to the side, making them appear perpetually perplexed.
