This young pit bull terrier/Lab mix loves being active and will happily accompany you jogging, hiking, wherever the occasion takes you. You know you want to keep her: Anabelle, an adorable Lhasa Cockapoo, loves everything — with the exception being cats. She was adopted from a shelter, but sadly returned when she got an ear infection. This 16-pound canine doesn’t shed, is great with kids, and would like a fellow dog companion so that she is not lonely at home.

According to the Lhasa Happy Homes website, “She has good energy and would love to go hiking or running with you … and would be equally happy sitting in your lap and giving you kisses.” While she looks tiny, don’t be deceived. “I was found in running around on the street outside of Sacramento in pretty rough shape. Thankfully, I wasn’t in that lonely shelter for long and have been welcomed into the arms of Muttville.”

You know you want to keep her: Kimchee, a smiling 11-pound Shih Tzu, is “absolutely precious,” according to Lhasa Happy Homes’ executive director Randee Goldman. She was left at the shelter because she has a bad eye, which is now healing fine with medication and treatment. 

“This little lady LOVES toys … the squeakier, the better,” Goldman wrote on the site. A perfectly agreeable pup, Kimchee is friendly, curious and seems potty trained. She gets along well with everyone, and would prefer to have fellow dogs around or enough attention to not be left alone. She is currently in a foster home, so contact Lhasa Happy Homes for more information.

You Know You Want to Keep Him: “Handsome Lenny” is hailed as one of the happiest, friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet. While his feline friend (pictured above) is not included, Lenny gets along with cats and also wouldn’t mind having a canine friend. He enjoys spending time outside and is quite smart. Currently in a foster home, Lenny has picked up training and commands easily.
