At A Better Chance, we know that thousands of bright young people of color lack access to educational opportunities that allow them to flourish. We help these students realize their full potential by opening doors to the best secondary schools in the country for them.
Each year, A Better Chance supports more than 1,900 talented students of color in over 300 schools, and annually recruits close to 500 new students who are all seeking their ‘better chance.’ After graduation, our students can look forward to a college degree and a real shot at making a difference in their communities.
The largest and only national organization of its kind, A Better Chance has helped transform more than 12,000 committed students into many of our country’s leaders since 1963.
