Stages Premieres at the NY Latino Film Festival

On Tuesday I wrote about a project I am very proud of, a documentary I made with Meerkat Media entitled STAGES. Yesterday we had our official premiere of the film at the New York International Latino Film Festival and it was quite a day. 9 of the film's 12 directors were there along with 5 of my favorite people - Lucy, Juanita, Monserrate, Maria and David - from the actual film.  The response we got was great with almost the entire audience being moved to tears. (I was definitely crying)  Below are some pictures from the big day. Also, we have one more screening tomorrow Friday July 31st @ 5pm.  If you live in the New York City area please try to come out and support collaborative filmmaking, community art spaces and the inspiring theater work done by all the participants in the film. I promise you that you'll be glad you did.  httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLHfri1tTzo

Thanks Danny and Adriana! We'd love to bring the film to LA - hopefully we'll be able to :)
I agree with Danny. Would love to see it when it comes to LA, and the poster design is incredible. Congrats!
Congrats Gina, the film looks amazing! I wish I was there in NY to see it! Let us know when Stages comes to LA.
