Here's some fun Monday morning box office news to start your day with - after another successful weekend Food, Inc.'s total gross is $1,707,000 - which makes it the top grossing specialty documentary of 2009!
Woohoo!
The real good news is that this means that a lot of people have been seeing Food, Inc. and thinking about how they eat and where their food comes from.
My parents saw the film on opening night in Cleveland and when they got home they started looking up where they could purchase local, grassfeed, organic meat in their area. My mom even said she wasn't going to purchase anymore meat at our local grocery store chain. It's these small steps that will make a difference.
If you haven't seen Food, Inc. yet find out when it will be in your area and check it out! Topics
