Unlike most ladies my age, as a teen I was not a New Kids on the Block super fan (I was a hair metal chick, sorry). I am however a fan of the charity work NKOTB is doing through their Let’s Get This Foundation.
Their current project is a book drive in which fans who donate books to the New Kids on the Block Let’s Get This Foundation will get free NKOTB downloads. Here Joey McIntyre talks about the project:

I checked out the Let's Get This Foundation website to learn more about all the work they do and it seems like the organizations plan is to help different causes through a variety of projects, starting with the book drive. On the mission page Joey McIntyre explains "For me, like a lot of others, I want to ‘give back’, but I either don’t know how or I don’t think it will make a difference. Part of Let’s Get This Foundation is learning how to get involved by learning from each other. As we are giving back with different endeavors or ’steps’, we can learn from each other and create a forum for all kinds of ‘good works’- Wherever the passion lies. Passion is the key.”
