Daily Nation -- Kenya is about to run out of its first line malaria medicine, AL or artemether-lumefantrine. However the market and health facilities are flooded with more than 113 brands of "anti-malarials," half of which aren't registered, of poor quality and inappropriate for use. Critics have turned their attention to the health officials who are allegedly on the payroll of local drug manufacturers and distributors.
