Last week Laura Ingraham verbally attacked Meghan McCain (daughter of John McCain) because of McCain's criticism of far right conservatives and for blogging about her dating life on TheDailybeast. com. Ingraham said on air that Meghan McCain is “just another Valley Girl gone awry" and then went on to make fun of McCain’s body, joking that she didn’t get a “role in the Real World” because “they don’t like plus-sized models.” Hear the whole immature attack here:

I love the line "I’m too fat to write?" Agreed. I mean really, why is Laura Ingraham being such a bully?
Of course Ingraham responded to the View appearance on her radio show saying: "The bottom line is it’s rough and tumble out there. You wanna put yourself out there as someone who’s going to redirect the future of the Republican Party, and you’re going to have to deal with satire. You’re gonna have to deal with people teasing … You gotta just take a chill pill … Can I say lighten up or is that offensive too?"
Um, "people" teasing? Don't you mean "one bitter and mean radio host" teasing ? And ps. Laura, no one has taken a "chill pill" since 1994 so why not leave the "cool hip" terms to the kiddies. The only thing offensive here is that Ingraham, a grown woman is creating childish and cruel drama. Pathetic.
