The coast along California is under threat. The fishing industry is lobbying to resume fishing in threatened areas where past overfishing has left these fragile ecosystem in jeopardy.

Fortunately, fish populations starting to rebound in Marine Protected Areas, but the effort must continue in order to restore biodiversity.
