Parents may want to re-consider this form of allowance in light of the fact that U.S. dollar bills are caked with coke.
Paper money from America contain higher traces of cocaine than the bills of any other country, a new study has found.
And not only that, but U.S. dollars are apparently full of plenty of other contaminants, too. From a LiveScience article:
