Horizon Wind Commissions 500MW of Wind Power

From SustainableBusiness -- One of the largest wind energy producers in the world, Horizon Wind Energy, fully commissioned more than 500 megawatts of wind power in December of 2008, after building farms in Iowa and Kansas. Kansas ranks number 12 in wind power in the United States, and is projected to climb in rank this year, while Iowa ranks number 3.
