Rival Serbs Are Admitting Bosnia-Croatia Atrocities

In the heated Serbian election campaigns during the height of the Bosnian War, accusations of corruption and war crimes come begin to emerge from high levels in the Serbian government. The militant nationalist Radical party is accused by Slobodan Milosevic's Socialist party of rape and plunder in Croatia and Bosnia. The Radicals shoot back that the Socialists are responsible for the corruption destroying Serbia, and the Radical leader, Vojislav Seselj, insists he never acted outside the sanction of the government. Whether this confirms or puts the lie to the claims of Milosevic during his trial in The Hague that the paramilitaries in Bosnia acted out of his control may never be known for sure.
