No One Without: Chic Casual Wear Helps Educate Kids in Liberia

"When you're laying on the street, you can only get walked past so many times without getting acknowledged to where you slowly start believing you don't exist."
Hearing these words from a man who unexpectedly found himself homeless is what propelled 28-year-old Gaston Javurek to sell his car and start No One Without, a new fashion company that gives back.
The company has partnered with the ethical clothing outfit Alternative Apparel for their new line of sustainably chic casual wear. What we love about No One Without is not only their cute sweaters, hoodies, tees and tanks, but also that 20 percent of your purchase goes to the charity of your choice. The company gives you five charities to choose from that focus on either water scarcity, homelessness, education or global poverty.
Thus far, No One Without is already making an impact. They are helping kids go to school and have brought clean water initiatives to rural communities in Africa. One of the little girls they sent to school through the More Than Me Foundation was named Musu. "We just fell in love with her," Gaston says.
Musu was about six years old and was selling nuts in the slums of Liberia. Today, thanks to More Than Me and No One Without, she is enrolled in school and no longer has to work to support her family.
Ultimately, Gaston says, they are hoping their clothing line will help no one live without. "Whatever need that may be," he explains, "whether it is food, water, shelter clothing, medicine, or someone to love and care for them."
Clothing from No One Without ranges from $17 to $60. Purchase men's clothing here and women's clothing here.
