Let's play a game of word association.
We say "bridge," you say...
...river, concrete connector, double-decker, steel cables, drawbridge, arches.
Those would be fairly standard answers.
What you wouldn't answer, what we'd never expect you to even guess would be words or phrases like...
...media hub, cultural space, solar-panelled roof gardens.
But, if Korean creative designer Byung Ju Lee has any say in the matter, your opinion of what a bridge can be is about to change.

Dubbed the Paik Nam June Media Bridge, his structure would not only link the Dangi-il Power Plant with the National Assembly Building in Seoul, Korea, it would be a destination in and of itself, reports Arch Daily.
You name it, this bridge has it.

A roof dotted with solar panels and gardens. A public museum. A library. Water taxis and cruise ships docking at the base. And, our personal favorite, a special skin coating the entire bridge that be can be used as a canvas for media and video artists.

According to Arch Daily, the project is currently under review to be developed as a BTL (Build-Transfer-Lease) project.
