Performing Arts Traditions is a nonprofit organization created to serve the classical traditions in all the arts. Because support for the arts is oriented to the avant-garde, the novelty, the gimmick, the "concept," we feel a new organization is necessary to emphasize the classical traditions that are the vital heart of all art. We cannot move forward if we do not have a solid center. We cannot move forward if we do not understand the past.
We seek to preserve, promote, publish, present new works created in the classical traditions. We seek to educate and inform. We seek to support and nurture artists who work in classical traditions and to train new artists to master these traditions.
