Selling Shoes to Save Lives

DJ AM, who died last year after a drug overdose related to medication, was known for his love of shoes. Last week his estate announced it will auction off his collection of over 800 pairs of shoes (that's eight-zero-zero! I think I only own 18 pairs) to raise money for the DJ AM Memorial Fund which maintains the legacy of Adam Goldstein and his commitment to helping others struggling with addiction. The auction began on Sunday, November 15 and shoes will be added every evening through the first week of December, so check the site often for new items.
