Tomorrow, November 11th, is Veterans Day and with it an opportunity to support our troops and to support sufficient funding and resources for our Veterans returning from war. One awesome way in which you can do this is by getting involved with the Take a Veteran to School Day program. Over at the History Channel's Veterans Day website they have a plethora of ways you can get behind the program and help introduce school kids to the people that have defended our country. You can:
1) Sign up for Take a Veteran to School Day and the National Teach-In
2) If you're a teacher, download their curriculum resources
3) Thank a Veteran at work by requesting a sticker or making a flyer
4) Donate for Veterans
Find a way to get involved today and go below for some links to videos about the program.
