netimpact_resizedLooking for a job? Want to launch a socially conscious business idea? Looking to learn more about CSR and social entrepreneurship? Don’t miss this year’s Net Impact Conference November 13th and 14th at Cornell University. If you want to save on registration and expand your network, then join Net Impact and receive a discount on your tab.

While there is no time limit on registration, the deadline is swiftly approaching to submit your resume to the “resume book.” If you submit your resume by October 26, all the exhibitors will receive a copy. Whether you are looking for a new job or to network for business, this is a great opportunity to get your resume in the pipeline.

More than 2,000 professionals, MBAs, and students are gathering to hear keynote speakers like Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE, discuss the future of social markets, and how they’ve found success in an arena that seeks to combine good business with positive social change. Attendees will be coming from the for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental sectors, from a range of arenas such as clean energy, CSR, socially responsible investing, microfinance, and social entrepreneurship.

Over 350 speakers are lined up to discuss their personal experiences working in social markets, from their inspiration to their greatest failures, and of course, their successes. Most valuable, though, will be the talking points on best practices they’ve discovered along the way. Among the keynote speakers are Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE, and Jeff Furman, who is on the Board of Directors of Ben & Jerry’s and Ben & Jerry’s Foundation. He’s been with them since the very start, having helped write their first business plan, and he is now spearheading a micro-enterprise project. Also on the docket is Seth Goldman, President & “TeaEO” of Honest Tea, the nation’s best-selling organic bottled tea, and Joe Sibilia, CEO of Meadowbrook Lane Capital and CSRWire.

It’s looking like a great opportunity to delve into responsible business, but if you can’t attend, not to fret. We’ll bring you the highlights after all is said and done.
