The Crazies: Upcoming Movie Trailer

I am so excited to see The Crazies, even if it's a remake of a 1973 George Romero film that is being directed by the same guy who directed Sahara.  I mean the trailer below is so good and so creepy and it stars Timothy Olyphant and it has a social action oriented message!!

The film is about a small town and what happens when people seem to get infected with some kind of deranged disease that apparently comes from toxins in the water supply.  Which is great, because honestly things in movies are always scarier when they could be true.  And while I doubt our water supply will turn us into zombies, I do fear that toxins are probably doing very bad things to all of our insides.

Thankfully The Crazies looks awesome and hopefully lots of people will see it.

I love how the trailer starts out so slow and normal and then just gives you a hint of the crazy things that happen in the film.

Also, on a more personal note, I love that it uses the song "Mad World" which I have always associated with Donnie Darko, a film I don't like so much.  I would much rather associate it with something new and better!
