How are YOU Taking Part on Earth Day?

I'm making a run to the recycling center to turn in a massive amount of clear and white plastic that has been piling up in my garage. Later, I'll force Disney to plant a tree in my honor..

I'm going to tell other people about TakePart!

I am showing AIT in my classroom and trying to get my students think about how they can reduce their carbon footprint.

My kids and I participated in the Earth Day "Film on the Fly" digital storytelling contest sponsored by the PBS affiliate in Orange County, CA, and submitted a video titled, "Go Green! Go Electric!"

I posted about this to my blog, with some additional background about how we made it. This was almost entirely the work of my 11 year old son. :-)

Yes! Great job,y'all! I carpool to work everyday, so I already feel I'm doing my small party, but there is always more that can be done. But shorter showers? C'mon!

Eating vegan! 1/3 of the world's greenhouse gas emissions come from food and agriculture with meat and dairy playing a HUGE part.

I'm going to help Thiru Kumar, the famous (and Vendy Award winning) street food vendor hand out his delicious vegan food at a large Earth Day celebration - and I'm going to take public transportation there!
