Fox News Launches Environmental Website. Really.
Well, I don't really know what to think about this little bit of news, so I'm just going to go ahead and tell you, and then we can figure out what's going on. So, here goes: Fox News has launched a green website. Like, as in, environmentally friendly. I'm going to let that sink in for a second.
There's a poll on the right hand side of that website, for readers, if you click on the link above. The question asked is: "IS Global Warming Real?" I'm not joking. That is the question Fox News is asking on their environmental website. I clicked "Yes," because I sometimes pay attention to science, and found that I am in the majority for this poll so far - 61% to 39%. Solid.
Now, on the site, there are daily tips on going green, and sections on living green, buying green, ecotech, and something called planning green, which isn't really explained. Also, it appears that the same articles appear in each section over and over again. So, there's that.
I am trying to figure out the point of this website, to be honest. Is it meant to show that Fox News cares about the environment, too? Is it going to have a spin, eventually? At this point, I suppose, I'm just impressed with the fact the site exists at all.
takepart and visit Fox News' environmental website from time to time to see what's going on, and what's being said. Remember - keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
