Woman Clones Dead Dog, Brings "Booger" Back to Life

Animals seem to be on all of our TakePart minds today so this news will fit right in. Apparently a woman made 5 clones of her dead, beloved dog "Booger." The woman, Bernann McKinney, spent 50,000 to recreate Booger, who passed away 2 years ago.

I hesitate to say much else about this specific incident, as I am still deeply disturbed by it. I mean I loved my dog Bonnie tremendously (she passed away 5 or so years ago) and if I was in a movie and some magical spirit told me I could have 1 million dollars or see Bonnie again, I would probably choose to see Bonnie again.

However,  I would never never never go so far as to clone her.
