Child Soldiers

%3Cp%3EIt%20has%20been%20estimated%20by%20Human%20Rights%20Watch%20that%20there%20are%20about%20two%20hundred%20to%20three%20hundred%20thousand%20child%20soldiers%20in%20the%20world%20today.%20In%20many%20of%20the%20conflicts%20happening%20today%20children%20are%20directly%20involved%20in%20hostilities.%20Governments%20and%20non-state%20groups%20have%20their%20reasons%20for%20using%20child%20soldiers.%20According%20to%20Human%20rights%20Watch%2C%20%26ldquo%3BPhysically%20vulnerable%20and%20easily%20intimidated%2C%20children%20typically%20make%20obedient%20soldiers.%26rdquo%3B%20Children%20can%20also%20be%20easily%20brainwashed%20into%20accepting%20a%20group%26rsquo%3Bs%20doctrine%2C%20like%20the%20Hitler%20Youth%20for%20instance.%20They%20can%20be%20easily%20made%20to%20forget%20their%20families%20and%20identities%2C%20and%20be%20washed%20up%20into%20a%20new%20group%20identity.%20Just%20like%20children%20can%20easily%20learn%20new%20languages%2C%20so%20too%20they%20can%20learn%20new%20morals%20and%20beliefs.%20Children%20can%20also%20be%20easier%20recruited%20than%20adults%3B%20they%20are%20often%20forcibly%20conscripted%20by%20kidnapping%20and%20threatening%20their%20families%2C%20as%20well%20as%20being%20drugged.%20This%20is%20an%20issue%20we%20must%20face%20immediately.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A
