Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign stop was interrupted Monday when two men stood in the crowd and began screaming, "Iron my shirt!" during one of her final appearances before the New Hampshire primary.Don't worry, the two losers were removed from the auditorium.
Clinton, a former first lady running to become the nation's first female president, laughed at the seemingly sexist protest that suggested a woman's place is doing the laundry and not running the country.
So my question to the two little boys who felt the need to heckle a successful, powerful woman- women are too dumb to run the country so they belong at home ironing your shirts, but men are so smart that they yell juvenile and nonsensical statements at a political function? Seriously, go back to 5th grade and pick on someone at your maturity level.
Clinton responded saying "as I think has been abundantly demonstrated, I am also running to break through the highest and hardest glass ceiling." Later she also joked "if there's anyone left in the auditorium who wants to learn how to iron a shirt, I'll talk about that."
Regardless of it you like Hillary or not, she, like all the candidates, deserves her time to speak without interruption or insults.
