A Debate Winner? My Thoughts As The Debate Progressed

As you may have noticed, we the bloggers of TakePart posted the questions we would ask the candidates if we could, and we did this because the Town Hall format means that everyday folks like you and me get to ask the candidates questions.   And the best part is that the candidates have to answer them, which means that they will hopefully get away with less when it comes to avoidance or changing the subject. So take some time, takepart and read up on Town Hall history and also, be super sure to takepart and check out the NYTimes liveblog of the debate - where they will be fact checking as they go. I'll be here at TakePart and will see if McCain or Obama get asked any of our questions or something similar and report back on what they have to say. For now, enjoy the debate, I just hope that not too much mud is slung - I don't want to have to take a shower after. Read on: Our Top 10 Questions For The Candidates

I think McCain are lieing about every thing that comes out of his mouth, as you can see his face tells the truth. His eyes just cann't stop blinking,my mother told me anyone who's eyes blink the whole time they are talking is a lier,so McCain you are a big lier.
Wow, you were on point. I also liked the way Obama perfomed, and especially how he was so interested with McCain's answers, even tho McCain semed to careless whatever Obama had to say. I also had to watch the debate on abc. Boo. But as soon as it was over I flipped to pbs to hear lehrer, brooks & shields analysis. They kick ass
