In 1968, people took to the streets to tell the country's leaders and the media how they felt about the war in Vietnam, civil rights and other critical issues. Today, the same spirit of activism is channeled. The Social Action Campaign for Chicago 10 encourages citizens to voice their opinions on key issues and stand up for what they believe in, to exercise their right to vote and encourage those around them to register to vote, and to advocate for voter protection.
