If there was ever a movie for fathers and their sons Grown Ups might be it. It’s filled with little boy humor and the male comedians (Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider) that have been making fathers laugh for the past 10+ years.
The plot is also a pretty wholesome one.  The idea of meeting up with your childhood best friends whom you haven’t seen in years and spending time with everyone’s families is one that is a nostalgic one that is always worth revisiting once in awhile. And while this film may have a bit more gross-out humor than most trips down memory lane given its stars, I think deep down this will be a simple, feel good movie about friendship.
The trailer below gets that across I think.
What do you think, will this be a nice family comedy with a few gross moments or is the trailer just a ruse to pack the theaters for a dirty comedy?
I hope it’s the former, I adore a good family movie!
