Today thousands in Berlin, Germany are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall which separated the city’s east and west during the Cold War years. Watch this video from CBS:
Today in Berlin, leaders and citizens will gather for a celebration which includes the knocking down of 1,000 giant painted dominos that were placed along a .9-mile stretch of the wall’s original path. Considering much of the world is at war, it’s nice to see one part of the world celebrating peace.
