I kind of love movies where the line between reality and absurdity is blurred and in the middle of that blur lies tidbits of truth. Based on the below trailer Collapse appears to be one of those awesome documentaries that doesn’t tell you what to think but instead presents a story/subject and lets you be the judge of what’s behind it all.
The story of Collapse is centered on Michael Ruppert, a LAPD officer turned independent reporter and conspiracy theorist. He has apparently been predicting and writing on some of the larger/more controversial current events as of late and the film attempts to get to the bottom of Ruppert’s ideas.
The buzz on this film is super enthusiastic and the trailer is pretty great. Not to mention that it’s directed by Chris Smith of American Movie fame.
How could it not be awesome?!
