1. For only $5 per month

…you can continue taking photos of this child. A few weeks ago, the Onion Magazine cover got it right, and pointed the finger right at our obnoxious obsession with using sad faces to fuel philanthropy.

2. Action pad for boobs!

Behance has a variety of products and resources that help you get creative. Check out their special pink edition that benefits Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. While you’re over at Behance, check out their latest project, The 99%: “It’s not about ideas, it’s about making ideas happen.”

3. Twitter wine

After spending a week at my aunt’s winery, I realized that a lot goes into a single bottle. The new Fledgling Initiative is putting a lot more into a bottle than a bunch of grapes and some love: they’re using proceeds to help Room to Read. For every case sold, approximately 60 local language children’s books will be given out to promote literacy in the world’s poorest regions.

4. YouTube videos are the new way to get attention

Relief and rehabilitation never looked so viral… The Click Initiative: a video challenge to Phillipine presidential candidates. For every view on this video, they donate a portion from their campaign money to the victims of the Ondoy typhoon. With a little under 2,500 views, spread the word. (via Osocio)

5. Superheroes to the rescue

Photographer Agan Harahap has a new series titled “Super Hero” that features some of our most famous caped crusaders in the midst of major historical events: Batman and Che, Superman at the Neuschwanstein Castle…fantastic.

6. Hottest Heads of State

Thought this day would never come: a blog dedicated to reviewing the hotness of the major leaders of our world. Check out #61, the Prime Minister of Canada, and his cute kitten, or take a look at the list and see the 14 other leaders that rank above Pres. Obama.

Got a few hot hot links of your own you wanna share? Email feedback@takepart.com, or send me a tweeeeet.
