Etsy Pick of the Day: The Dangerous Book for Boys Posted by Gina Telaroli on October 19, 2009 at 1:33 pm

As a kid I loved neat paper products, sending and receiving letters and reading about magical things.  And I still do. So when I saw this little notecard/adventure set tucked away in the Halloween gift section of Etsy, I had to make it my pick of the day.

It is basically a stationary set that was created from pages from “The Dangerous Book for Boys” and features awesome ideas for projects, adventures, science and more on the actual envelopes and notes.

From the maker, Prudence Octavia:

“The envelopes are all handmade, and measure 6 x 4 inches. Peel off a waxed paper strip to seal them, and they come with a white mailing sticker if you would like to send them in the post. Each is different, but I make sure to have the best bits on show!

There are a set of eight envelopes, eight note cards, eight mailing labels & a covered black ball point pen. If you would like more pieces in the set, or multiple sets, please convo me and I will set up a listing for you.”

Anything that encourages kids to write more is super fine by me.

Plus, this makes me want to send letters to everyone I know! I miss being a kid so much sometimes…
