Last week I reported the sad news that Gourmet Magazine was closing. Luckily for us Gourmet’s editor Ruth Reichl doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. She’s got a new book out, Gourmet Today and will soon featured in the upcoming PBS program Gourmet’s Adventures with Ruth.
For now though you can find her on NPR’s Fresh Air program talking about Gourmet and her memoirs including her latest Not Becoming My Mother.
Give a listen and then head to Gourmet’s website and find an awesome recipe to make today–like one of these awesome sounding, seasonally appropriate pumpkin dishes:
+Roast Pumpkin with Cheese “Fondue”
+Pumpkin Potato Purée
+Creamless Creamy Squash Soup
+Pumpkin, Corn, and Lemongrass Soup
+Caramel Pumpkin Pie
