Calculating and reducing your carbon footprint may not sound like your typical weekend activity, but the folks behind Brighter Planet want to provide you with resources to help make fighting climate change easy like Sunday morning.
What began as class project for environmental economics at Middlebury College has evolved into a web-based community of over 100,000 people who share their tips on reducing carbon emissions, switching to clean energy, and reducing our environmental impact through everyday actions.
In addition to a carbon calculator, the site offers other tools and online projects, and products to help you save energy and money. Check out their clever animated video below and use the action link to get involved with Brighter Planet:
