Narrated by Maya Angelou and directed by Hilary Helstein, As Seen Through These Eyes tells the story of a group of artists that fought Hitler with their art, with their pencils, their charcoal and their heart and soul.

It looks to be an inspiring tale of how the human spirit can triumph and of how sometimes just creating art can be the most powerful statement one can make.

The trailer below seems to suggest a mood piece with the beautiful words of Maya Angelou, which is just fine by me. 

This seems like a wonderfully moving film.
